We are the for-free magazine for all grade 10-12 students in South Africa..

Our editorial line is one of providing 'edutainment'. Some good tips of how to get through and fun and tech and science and world-news and more.


We pride ourselves of having been around for 15 years now - and still being read!


We publish everything online, also on Facebook and X but we also do 4 print issues per year.


We stick to 64 pages for now, but hey - that can change.


Of course it is exciting and that is why we see a lot of high-school students writing for us. It is a chance to get to be known and have something worthwhile on the CV - while still in school.

TUIDE is one of the newest K-pop girl groups, debuting on August 24, 2026, with their first EP Tune & Play under HYBE's new sublabel ABD. The seven-member group features Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Seah, and Yi Hani, introducing a "Soultronic" sound combining R&B vocals with electronic music.

Their name is derived from "Tune the tide", which holds the meaning of adjusting the flow. It embodies a bold ambition of creating their own new joy by directly experiencing and adjusting to the diverse flows and changes of the world. The group plans to deliver music that achieves perfect harmony by freely showcasing their distinct individual personalities while flexibly blending together.

AI is the big thing this month and we have tried to look at it beyond the 'dancing robots' although those are fun.

AI is somehow much more and that is where we look at the facts in terms of wht it really is.

Also why AI is so power hungry? does it even make sense.

And the big surprise (perhaps): the majority of robots are the yellow ones that manufacture things. inclusive of other robots and also programme them. there are some 4 million of the yellow ones doing a lot of things world-wide. and the population of robots are growing.

of course the future is humanoid robots in the factories. Why? simple: the factories are currently designed for humans. The heights of the tables, the need for two hands (and a thumb), the need for movement around. it all points to one thing: a humanoid is far more useful than anything else.
