We are the for-free magazine for all grade 10-12 students in South Africa..

Our editorial line is one of providing 'edutainment'. Some good tips of how to get through and fun and tech and science and world-news and more.


We pride ourselves of having been around for 15 years now - and still being read!


We publish everything online, also on Facebook and X but we also do 4 print issues per year.


We stick to 64 pages for now, but hey - that can change.


Of course it is exciting and that is why we see a lot of high-school students writing for us. It is a chance to get to be known and have something worthwhile on the CV - while still in school.

The Nobel prizes have been awarded. These people are clever. Wish I just could understand a little bit of what they are looking at.

We go into space again. But there is a catch. There are not enough rockets available for all the satellites that the industry wants to  put up there. It is a crisis and we have known about it for some time – if you have a spare rocket in the garden, announce it!



And data centers in space. Sounds so logical, but is it. Consider one thing: if a ‘normal’ data center will require some 200 people (or much more!) to operate (like sweeping the floor, changing a power supply, fix the aircon and so on) they should be catered for? An ISS with space for 6 people is no good. But 200 people up there? Maybe we should think again.

Tiger Wheel and Tyre’s Girls take the wheel day is one of fun and off-road driving. But there is more to it. This initiative makes a difference in the lives of young girls through a donation to the Ernest Foundation.


Tiger Wheel and Tyre handed over menstrual hygiene packs and additional goodies to the Ernest Foundation, helping to ensure that a lack of basic hygiene essentials does not stand in the way of a young girl’s education.


Training Force has a view on experience and qualifications. It is something we need to get to grips with.

A degree or diploma is an achievement, but it does not automatically prepare a graduate for the demands of a workplace.


A qualification can demonstrate subject knowledge, but employers also need evidence that a candidate can apply that knowledge in a practical working environment.


For someone entering the workforce for the first time, one of the biggest challenges is having something to put on a CV beyond a qualification. A learnership can provide that missing piece.
